You And I
'You and I' is my feel good, summertime type of song. There's no hidden meaning and life-altering metaphor tucked away in the lyric. It’s just a simple pop, love song. The chord progression is simple, with just a normal groove. Ironically, that's what I feel makes this song special.
Sometimes I write songs that are exactly what I'm going through and other times I'll write about what I want to feel or go through someday. My love songs tend to be the latter. This song is about being an encouragement for your wife. Or husband for all you ladies. We all go through hard times in our lives. Having someone that makes your day a little brighter makes it a little easier to get through those hard times.

To Chris if you read this; Saw you at Night of Joy Sept 10th...I have listened to Wait in Line over and over and over . My heart aches and my soul cries when I hear this song. I am in a long distance relationship, a christian courtship, with a high school sweet heart from 30 years ago. My husband passed away in '05 and I have two young children...Jesus has been my 'husband and father to my daughters since then' but G-d has brought my intended and I together, he is now a christian and the Lord is healing his childhood pain from a broken home, so we love 7X70. I love Starry night, and I love the a capello Not over you. You are a genius. Your infectuous, real humor and lighthearted way is so endearing, yet you sing songs of such depth and so perfectly, it makes my heart and soul ache. Just beautiful, what a gift you have from G-d. The Wait in line song, speaks to my waiting on G-ds timing, in a long distance celibate relationship where we are waiting for each other to be together as a family in G-ds timing, not ours, is difficult, you have captured this in Wait in Line. But I cannot find the cd anywhere to buy...so sad! No MP3 either, Amazon does not have it available, any ideas? Thanks !!!!!

Had to crank this one up today to help me get out of a funk I got in at work. It was one of those days, and this songs never fails to perk me up. Now if I could just find the "you" to go with my "I", but that's a whole other story. :o)
