Loving You Is Easy
'Loving You Is Easy' started with an idea my friend Ben Rector and I came up with. We were having a jam session at my place and we started humming the melody of the chorus. The vibe of the song was so simple we felt the lyrics should resemble that. After settling on the title Loving You Is Easy, we wrote the rest of the song around that idea. Channeling our inner Jackson 5, we decided to go with the ABC,1-2-3 idea. It was then that it hit us...A, B, and C are all words in themselves so we could actually have a little wordplay. Each line was written in a way that it was simple, but said in a way that was different enough to stand out. That's basically how that song was written. On a side note, it's one of my favorite songs on my album.
