I hate having secrets. It’s such a horrible feeling. Why do we even keep them? Embarrassment? Fear of everyone finding out who we really are? I’m tired of keeping them. It’s too hard. We weren’t designed for that. We were made to be in His light. No shadows. That’s what this song is about. Opening ourselves fully to God. Every corner and every part. I know you might be scared of what the shame will do if you start to come clean, but the moment you make that first step, God is going to meet you where you are and suddenly it will be darkness that’s afraid.
